Dubai, Sep 5 (PTI) Pakistan skipper Fatima Sana won the toss and opted to bat against India in their Women’s Asia Cup match here on Saturday.
India have won both their previous matches and are sitting atop Pool A with four points, having already secured a place in the semifinals.
Pakistan, meanwhile, are playing their second match of the tournament and have two points after winning their opener.
Both teams retained the same playing XI.
India captain Harmanpreet Kaur, who is set to lead the side in her 150th T20I, described the milestone as a “big achievement” and said her team would look to restrict Pakistan to a manageable total.
“Good we are getting a chance to chase. Great achivement on playing 150th T20I as captain, the key is to keep enjoying.
We will try to restrict them to a shorter total. We are going with the same team,” said Harmanpreet.
