Dehradun, Jun 5 (PTI) Booth-level officers will distribute and collect voter enumeration forms door-to-door across Uttarakhand from June 8 for one month under the Special Intensive Revision exercise in the state, officials said on Friday.
Addressing a press conference here, Uttarakhand Additional Chief Electoral Officer Vijay Kumar Jogdande said the state is conducting Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls with July 1, 2026, as the qualifying date.
The three-phase training of booth-level officers (BLOs) across all Assembly segments and printing of enumeration forms have been completed, he said.
The BLOs will distribute and collect the forms from June 8 to July 7, and digitise and upload them through the BLO app during this one month,
Jogdande said, adding that they will visit a house up to three times if a voter is unavailable.
“The draft electoral roll will be published on July 14. Citizens can file claims and objections till August 13. The administration will issue notices and resolve the claims and objections from July 14 to September 11. The final electoral roll will be published on September 15, following the Election Commission’s guidelines,” the official said.
A total of 79,60,762 voters in the state will be provided enumeration forms. Voters can also download, fill and upload their enumeration forms online through the ECI NET app, he said.
“Eligible individuals who wish to register can contact their BLO to fill Form 6. The department will consider these forms during the disposal of claims and objections,” Jogdande added. PTI DPT AKY ARI
