Gurugram, Aug 29 (PTI) Ahead of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini’s visit to Nuh on Saturday, Youth Congress’ district president Mubin Khan Tedia claimed that he had been put under house arrest.
However, there was no official word on it.
It was claimed that the administration had received information that the Nuh district unit of the Youth Congress planned to show black flags to the chief minister.
Tedia alleged that the government was attempting to suppress the Opposition’s voice ahead of the chief minister’s visit. He claimed that an atmosphere akin to imprisoning democracy is being created in Mewat.
“Why is there a need to fear questions if the government has done nothing wrong,” he said.
Saini, during his visit to Nuh on Saturday, handed
over appointment letters to 1,054 Primary Teachers (PRTs) of the Mewat Cadre, in a move aimed at strengthening primary education in the region, an official said. PTI CORR RT RT
