Lokah Chapter 2 Announced: Dulquer Salmaan Drops Exciting Promo With Tovino Thomas | Watch

Fans of Kalyani Priyadarshan starrer ‘Lokah Chapter 1’ are in for a treat as the makers have finally announced its sequel- ‘Lokah Chapter 2’ starring Tovino Thomas and Dulquer Salmaan, who is also the producer

of the Malayalam superhero film. Dulquer Salmaan shared an intriguing poster and a three-minute long promo video featuring Tovino as Michael/Chathan and Dulquer as Charlie/Odiyan, titled ‘When Legends Chill’.

Lokah Chapter 2 Officially Announced

On Saturday, Dulquer Salmaan shared a poster featuring him and Tovino Thomas. He wrote, “Beyond myths. Beyond legends. A new chapter begins. #LokahChapter2 Starring Tovino Thomas. Written & Directed by Dominic Arun. Produced by Wayfarer Films.” Along with it, he also shared the link to the teaser, which shows Tovino as Michael and Dulquer as Charlie having a conversation while they are hiding underground.

In the video, Tovino Thomas aka Michael reveals that Chapter 2 centers around his character, hinting at a more intense and action-packed storyline. He informs Dulquer Salmaan that his brother is back and is quite violent, and is after both him and the Elder. Tovino urges Dulquer to step in if needed. However, Dulquer declines, saying he doesn’t want to get involved in family matters. Despite this, Tovino firmly states that he will come anyway, setting the stage for a dramatic confrontation.

Needless to say, fans were thrilled with the announcement, and they expressed their excitement for Lokah Chapter 2. “Michael X Charlie combo is going to be insane in Lokah chapter 2,” wrote one fan, while another one commented, “Happy to see Marvel like universe from Kerala industry.” A third comment read, “India’s original marvels started,” while a few others compared it to Deadpool and Wolverine.

Earlier, the makers had shared publicity stills of Tovino Thomas’ character as the goblin/Chathan, as well as Dulquer’s Charlie aka Odiyan- a contemporary spin on two figures from Kerala folklore.

Lokah Chapter 1’s Post Credit Scene

The post credit scene of Lokah Chapter 1 hinted at a sequel with Tovino Thomas. A character named Charlie is mentioned before the camera shifts to a surprising cameo by the film’s producer, Dulquer Salmaan. While Charlie’s role is not yet clear, it looks like the spotlight of the sequel may fall on Chathan, the goblin played by Tovino Thomas. Tovino’s character appears to help Neeli and her friends escape the dangerous Inspector Nachiyappa. But he exits before the final clash at the safehouse.

The post credits scene adds more mystery when an unknown man questions Chathan about a failed archaeological mission. The only clue from that expedition is an image of the goblin. When asked about it, Chathan says it might be him or one of his 389 lookalike siblings.
