A video from Toxic sets that is currently going viral on Reddit’s BollyBlindsNGossip page shows Nayanthara walking up to a man and greeting him with a handshake, followed by Yash, who does the same. The actress, who plays Ganga in the film,
looks stunning in a black gown, while Yash looks dapper in a white outfit. Huma Qureshi is also seen in the background. Fans seemed intrigued by the BTS clip, and a few netizens pointed out that it reminded them of Bombay Velvet, likely because of the vintage vibe. “Bombay velvet vibes,” read one comment, while another one read, “Bombay velvet yet again?”

Nayanthara’s first look from the film was recently unveiled by the makers. The actress made a solid impression with her powerful presence, leaving fans excited. She looks intense as Ganga, dressed in a black gown with a deep neckline and thigh high black boots, and was seen holding a gun in her hand. “Introducing Nayanthara as GANGA in – A Toxic Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups,” read the caption.
Earlier, Huma Qureshi was introduced as Elizabeth in Toxic. The poster presented her like a goth queen, a dark angel draped in black, standing amidst a cemetery backdrop beside a classic automobile.
Meanwhile, Kiara’s first look as Nadia featured her in a black off-the-shoulder gown with a thigh-high slit, standing alone in the spotlight on a dance floor as tears roll down her face. A few days ago, Kiara took to her Instagram stories to thank her fans’ for the immense love she received upon the poster release. “A role that demanded more from me – physically, mentally, emotionally and felt nothing short of transformative. My toughest one yet. Months of hard work. One fearless leap. To see this first look receive so much love means everything. Grateful beyond words,” she wrote.
Written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups is directed by Geetu Mohandas. The film is produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations.
Alongside Yash, Kiara and Nayanthara, the film also stars Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, Tovino Thomas and others. The film has been filmed simultaneously in English and Kannada, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and several other languages, underscoring its global ambition. Toxic is scheduled to release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Eid, Ugadi and Gudi Padwa. The film will clash at the box office with Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar 2.
