Amaravati, May 4 (PTI) Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday directed officials to transform products made in Andhra Pradesh so that they can emerge as global brands.
During a review meeting on product promotion at the Real-Time Governance Society (RTGS) in the Secretariat, the CM instructed officials to strengthen road, rail, and port connectivity to industrial clusters.
“Take measures to develop products made in Andhra Pradesh into global brands. Only when the quality of local products is enhanced will they reach the global level,” Naidu said in a press release.
The CM called for measures to help local products access local, regional, national, and international markets.
During the review meeting, he discussed industrial clusters being
developed in the Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, and Amaravati economic regions, including industrial and chemical parks being developed by the Centre under the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana (BHAVYA) programme.
He also reviewed proposals for a rare earth mineral park in the East Coast Industrial Corridor, scheduled to be set up in 2026–27, along with a container manufacturing cluster and 175 MSME parks.
Naidu directed officials to align product development and logistics within industrial parks, along with facilities such as water, power, cold chain, and warehousing.
Further, he instructed the establishment of farmer-producer organisations within industrial clusters for the benefit of farmers.
He also directed officials to develop an industrial township in every industrial cluster, among other initiatives, the press release added. PTI STH SSK
