Rewari Municipal Council President is one of the four President posts that went to the polls in the 2026 Haryana Local Body Elections. The post is being contested through a direct election among six candidates.
VOTER TURNOUT
Out of the total electorate of 1,15,776 voters,
75,090 votes were cast in the Rewari Municipal Council President elections.
The elections were held across 99 booths, of which Booth No. 37 Rao Tularam Stadium, Rewari, Hall Part-2 in Ward 12 registered the highest voter turnout at 77.78%, while Booth No. 86 Govt. Primary School, Ajay Nagar, Rewari, Left Wing in Ward 27 recorded the lowest turnout at 47.3%.
The overall voter turnout for the Rewari Municipal Committee President election stood at 64.9%.
POLL DATES
The gazette notification for the Rewari Minicipal Council President Election was issued on April 15, 2026 (Wednesday). The last date for scrutiny of nominations was April 27, 2026 (Monday), while the final date for withdrawal of nominations was April 28, 2026 (Tuesday).
Voting took place on Sunday, May 10, 2026, and the counting of votes is happening on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
