Riddhima Kapoor Sahni took a nostalgic trip down memory lane as she shared a rare photograph from her parents, Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor’s wedding, leaving fans emotional and nostalgic. The throwback picture instantly caught the attention of fans.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Riddhima Kapoor shared a rare photo of her parents wedding and tagged mother @neetu54.” On Thursday, Neetu Kapoor took to the stories section of the social media platform and shared a video of their song ‘Jaan Meri Rooth Gayee’ from the 1977 film Doosara Aadmi. In the caption of her post, Neetu wrote, ‘In remembrance.’

Rishi and Neetu worked together on several films like Amar Akbar Anthony, Khel Khel Mein, Rafoo Chakkar, Kabhi Kabhie and Besharam
among others. The two got married on January 22, 1980, and have two children, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Ranbir Kapoor.
However, Rishi Kapoor passed away in April 2020, at the age of 67 after a two-year fight with leukaemia. In one of the interviews, Riddhima had admitted that the tragic incident brought her family closer as they all began looking after each other a little bit more.
Last year, on Rishi Kapoor’s birth anniversary, Neetu Kapoor honoured him in the most heartfelt way. The actress, who frequently shares cherished memories of the legendary actor, posted a sweet video tribute on the special day. Accompanying the clip, she wrote, “You will always remain in our hearts. Happy birthday.”

Riddhima was seen singing the track with all her heart while everyone present was heard clapping for her in the video posted by her on her official Instagram handle. “Agar smile aa jaaye, samajh lena gaana kaam kar gaya (If you smile, the song has worked),” her sweet caption on the post read. ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’ is a popular number from the 1980 release ‘Qurbani’ starring Vinod Khanna and Zeenat Aman. In another post, Riddhima expressed her gratitude for starting 2026 with the two people she cherishes the most in her life, her mother Neetu Kapoor and husband Bharat Sahni.
Recently, she offered a glimpse into the Kapoor family’s Christmas celebrations on social media.
Riddhima took to her IG and posted a family photo with mom Neetu, brother Ranbir, sister-in-law Alia Bhatt and her daughter Samara.
“Christmas isn’t about the gifts under the tree, but the people gathered around it. So grateful for moments like these and a family that makes every season brighter! Thank you @soniradzdan aunty for the love, effort, and care you put into Christmas dinner. We missed you @brat.man #gratefulthankfulblessed,” she captioned the post.
