Rrahul Sudhir, Not Working For Over A Year, Says ‘I Keep Buying What I Want. No Money Crunch’

Rrahul Sudhir was last seen on television in Dabangii Mulgii Aayi Re Aayi and has since not been seen on screen. The actor is candid about where he currently stands professionally. Addressing the assumption that he may have stepped away from television to explore other avenues, the actor shared that he has not got any opportunity lately.

In conversation with ETimes, Rrahul clarified, “People assume I have stepped away from television to pursue something else. But the truth is that I have not been seen on TV simply because I have not bagged another opportunity yet. I have no shame in admitting that.”

Rrahul Sudhir Is Waiting For The Ideal Project

He continues by saying that he is waiting for the ideal project to present itself. He said that he is pleased

with the work he has completed so far. That being stated, he is looking for a fantastic opportunity. Rrahul’s choices about how to live and portray himself have not changed despite times of professional instability. The actor, who has been in web series as well as television productions stated that he does not want to indulge in fancy things because he has nothing to prove to the world.

Rrahul Sudhir On the Pressures on The Industry

He added, “The industry has accepted me for who I am. I honestly do not think I would fit anywhere else if not here. Patience and resilience are virtues you develop along the way.” At this point in his journey, Rrahul is more motivated by moments of self-discovery via performance than by approval from others. “I look for a space where I surprise myself and can be happy about it for a few days. That is a rare space for any artist and it takes tremendous effort and courage, especially when the performance surprises you rather than you trying to surprise others,” he concluded.

Speaking about no money crunch, he said, “My love for perfumes, shoes and watches is still very much alive. I buy what I want and splurge when I feel like. But somehow I was never short of money. I would love to live that way.”
