Aamir Khan is enjoying one of the happiest days of his life today as he tied the knot with his long-time partner, Gauri Spratt, in an intimate wedding ceremony held today, July 5, at his Bandra residence. While pictures from the ceremony have surfaced online, both Aamir and Gauri are yet to make their first public appearance as husband and wife. Meanwhile, videos of Aamir seeing off Raj Thackeray after the wedding ceremony have gone viral.

In the video circulating on social media,Aamir Khan, looking dashing in a white traditional outfit as a newlywed, was seen hugging Raj Thackeray, who came to be a part of his special day. The actor then saw off the politician before making his way back inside the residence.

Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt beam with joy in first photo from their wedding

The heartwarming photo shows Aamir Khan signing the wedding papers with a smile, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his life. Seated beside him, Gauri Spratt looks elegant in a beige traditional outfit paired with an elaborate necklace and matching statement earrings.

The wedding photo also shows Gauri’s son from her previous marriage standing between the newlyweds while holding a box containing a ring. On the other side, Azad Rao Khan, Aamir’s son with his former wife Kiran Rao, is also seen holding another ring box, symbolising the coming together of the two families on the joyous occasion.

Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt’s love story

Although Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt first met around 25 years ago, their relationship began only in 2024 after they reconnected through Aamir’s cousin, Nuzhat Khan, in Bengaluru, where Gauri was living at the time. The couple spent nearly a year in a long-distance relationship before Aamir introduced Gauri to the media as his “partner” during his 60th birthday celebrations in March 2025.

Gauri later moved from Bengaluru to Mumbai along with her son from a previous marriage. After leaving her role at a haircare company, she joined Aamir Khan Productions and has since been working with the banner, which recently completed 25 years.

The couple had been living together at Aamir’s Mumbai residence for over a year before deciding to get married. Last month, Aamir confirmed that they had decided to tie the knot.
