Land Rovers are synonymous with luxury. The appeal comes from the way these swanky vehicles combine comfort with opulence. Built with a commanding stance and meticulously crafted interiors, the car feels
more like a private lounge on wheels than just an ordinary SUV. When we think of Land Rovers, we generally think of celebrities, businessmen and athletes driving them. But desis, as always, know how to put luxury to the most practical use.
Not long ago, a video surfaced on the internet showcasing a Land Rover Defender 110 luxury SUV, worth Rs 1.5 crore, being used to transport cow dung cakes.
The clip opened to the tailgate of the shiny, white-coloured vehicle, stuffed with cow dung cakes. Soon, a woman arrived on the spot and stacked several more of them into the boot. The side note read, “Luxury meets pure desi reality… While most imagine this beast parked outside five-star hotels, here it’s doing honest village duty.”
Internet Reacts To Land Rover Transporting Cow Dung
“Actually, it’s the same in rural Gulf countries,” pointed out a user. “When Arabic people do it, it is considered fine but not when Indians do it,” agreed another. “I don’t see a problem here anyway,” noted an individual.
“What’s wrong? A vehicle is for personal use. They purchased it and they have the right to use it. Cow dung (can also be) applied to floors; it has benefits. Google it,” read a remark.
Supporting the owner of the Land Rover Defender, one person wrote, “People are mentioning civic sense. It’s his money, his home and his way of flexing life. He is not doing any harm, nor is he asking someone for this. For some time, can we all just not talk about the civic sense and take that moment as fun?”
