Coimbatore, Jul 19 (PTI) Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar on Sunday underscored the transformative vision of the National Education Policy 2020.
He emphasised the need for research-oriented education, innovation, multidisciplinary learning and critical thinking to prepare youth for future challenges.
Addressing the gathering at the 38th Graduation Day of RVS College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), Coimbatore, the governor presented degrees to the graduating students.
He also highlighted the importance of integrating the Indian knowledge system with modern education to nurture well-rounded individuals rooted in the country’s rich civilisational values, while contributing to a Viksit Bharat (developed India).
He congratulated the
