Shahid Kapoor has been basking under the success of his recently released film, Cocktail 2. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon. Well, recently the actor left fans laughing with his witty response during an interactive Ask Me Anything session on social media.

During the session, a fan asked Shahid, “Kunzimiiiii was green forest.. kaha milte hai aise ladke????” The quirky question instantly stood out among several others and soon became one of the highlights of the interaction. Shahid, who often keeps his social media followers entertained with light-hearted moments, did not disappoint with his response. The actor answered, “The question unfortunately at this point of time a theatre near you.”

After its release on June 19, the film managed to build momentum over the first three days despite receiving mixed feedback from audiences and critics. The early run suggested a healthy overall trend, with collections moving at a solid pace across domestic and international markets.

However, the situation shifted as the film entered its first working Monday. On Day 4, Cocktail 2 saw a noticeable dip in earnings, slowing down significantly compared to its weekend performance. According to Sacnilk, the film collected ₹6.35 crore net in India on Monday across 9,785 screens, marking a sharp 64.2% decline from its Day 3 earnings of ₹17.75 crore.

With this drop, the India net total has now reached ₹53.85 crore, while the India gross stands at ₹64.56 crore. Internationally, the film added ₹1.50 crore on its fourth day, taking its overseas total to ₹20.75 crore. Overall, the worldwide gross has climbed to ₹85.31 crore so far, compared to ₹76.25 crore in the first three days.

Cocktail 2 is a spiritual sequel to the 2012 film ‘Cocktail’ starring Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan and Diana Penty. Helmed by Homi Adajania, the film stars Shahid Kapoor as Kunal, Rashmika Mandanna as Diya, and Kriti Sanon as Ally. It revolves around a long-term couple whose relationship is tested when a third person enters their lives.
