Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal on Saturday described India as an “economic powerhouse” and highlighted the growing partnership between the two neighbours across trade, energy, connectivity and digital integration, saying the relationship is rooted in deep historical and cultural ties.
Addressing the media during his official visit to India, Khanal said Nepal views India not merely as a neighbouring country but as a key partner in its development journey.
“When we look on the border, we see India as an economic powerhouse,” Khanal said, underlining India’s role in the region and the opportunities it presents for bilateral cooperation.
