'Should Be Interrogated About My Father's Murder': Zeeshan Siddique On Anmol Bishnoi's Deportation

A little over a year after NCP leader Baba Siddique was murdered, his son Zeeshan Siddique expressed happiness after he received news of the deportation of Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of gangster Lawrence

Zeeshan Siddique told News18 that Anmol Bishnoi should be interrogated about his father, Baba Siddique’s murder and has been asking for his extradition for a long time.

“I have been asking for his extradition for a long time. He should be interrogated for my father’s murder. My plea was delayed by the US but I am happy that he is being deported,” Zeeshan said.

He said he received the news of Anmol’s deportation via email from the Department of Homeland Security. Anmol is suspected to have been involved the Baba Siddique’s murder on October 12, 2024.

“This email is to inform you ANMOL BISHNOI has been removed from the United States by the federal government. The offender was removed on November 18, 2025,” the email stated, as received by Zeeshan.

Last year, Anmol was taken into police custody in California. His elder brother Lawrence Bishnoi is behind bars but is accused of running a global criminal network from prison.

Anmol is on the National Investigation Agency’s (NIA) ‘most-wanted’ list, with a reward of Rs 10 lakh on his head. There were three suspected shooters in the Baba Siddique murder case, and all were allegedly in contact with Anmol.

He is also wanted in the shooting outside Salman Khan’s Bandra home on April 14, 2024, for which he claimed responsibility on Facebook. His name is also linked to the 2022 murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.

Baba Siddique, 66, was shot dead outside his son Zeeshan’s office in Mumbai’s Neelamnagar area by three assailants, who were armed with pistols and had been following the politician.

The assailants allegedly fired six shots at him, of which three hit him in the upper body causing severe injuries. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he died within an hour.
