Sep 10 (PTI) Shafali Verma’s crucial half-century helped India to reach 149 for six against Bangladesh in their Women’s T20 Asia Cup semifinal here on Thursday.
Shafali struck three sixes and seven fours to make 64 from 40 balls to provide India the much-needed impetus as the other batters struggled against Bangladesh spinners.
Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur made 24 not out off 28 balls while Pratika Rawal scored 20. Deepti Sharma chipped in with a vital 6-ball 13 hitting a six and a four in the final over of the innings.
