The gazette notification for the BMC Ward No. 206 (F/South) was issued on December 15, 2025 (Monday), the last date of scrutiny of nominations was December 31, 2025 (Wednesday) and the last date of withdrawal of nominations was January 2, 2026 (Friday). Road leading to Sewri Fort Road across Central Railway Lines (Harbour Branch); thence eastwards along the southside of the said D.P.Road upto its junction with Sea-Shore with Sewri Fort across Sewri Fort Road; From there along the sea shore and Atal Setu at Sewri, Sewri Jetty and Flamingo Watch Point near Sewri Timber Pond under the jurisdiction of Mumbai Port Trust, southwards to Bandar Road at Brick Bandar. upto its junction with Signal Hill Avenue; thence southwards along the westside of Signal Hill Avenue upto its junction with Forsberry Road; thence westwards along the northside of Forsberry Road upto its junction with B.P.T. Road; thence northwards along the eastside of B.P.T Road upto its junction with First Avenue across B.P.T. PREVIOUS BMC ELECTION RESULT
The last Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections were held on February 21, 2017, in which Shiv Sena was the single largest party with 84 seats, while the Bharatiya Janata Party won 82 seats. Indian National Congress secured 31 seats, Nationalist Congress Party won nine, and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena won seven seats. Other parties included Samajwadi Party, which won six seats; the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen won two seats and the Akhil Bhartiya Sena won a single seat. Five Independent candidates also won seats in the election.
