A Booth Level Officer (BLO) in Jaipur, identified as Mukesh Jangid (48), died by suicide after jumping in front of a train at the Bindayka railway crossing late last night.
Mukesh, who was posted on duty
in the SIR area, reportedly rode his motorcycle to the railway tracks before taking the drastic step. Police recovered a suicide note from the spot in which he alleged harassment by certain officials.
The Bindayka police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the claims made in the note and the circumstances leading to his death.
