Tu Yaa Main remake of Thai film?

Tu Yaa Main is directed by Bejoy Nambiar and produced by Anand L Rai. The film stars Shanaya Kapoor opposite Adarsh and falls in the survival thriller genre. It is inspired by a popular Thai film released in 2018 and promises a tense, high-stakes narrative. Director Bejoy Nambiar told MidDay that the movie is an official adaptation of the Thai film. He said, “We have mentioned it in the credits in the trailer and also in the film. I am just annoyed how people just assume that we are just copying and remaking. Since it’s the first time I am adapting another film, I made it a point not to watch the original.”
