What Happened To Chakda Xpress?

Anushka Sharma wrapped up shooting for Chakda Xpress in 2022. Chakda Xpress is a biopic on the life of cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The film’s rights are with Netflix but it has not been released to date. Previously, a report by Mid-Day claimed that the film had been stuck for years because the heads at Netflix did not like how it turned out.

“The production house went over budget. What added to the woes was that the platform heads didn’t like the way the project was shaping up. But it’s still a solid film,” a source close to the film had claimed. There is no update on the film’s release as of now.
