Nimrat Kaur steps out in green dress
For the outing, Nimrat chose a green floor-length dress that looked simple yet graceful. The colour suited her well and gave the look a calm, daytime feel. Instead of going overboard with styling, she kept things clean and balanced. She paired the dress with a delicate diamond necklace that featured a dangling detail, adding just the right amount of shine. Her choice of cream-coloured moccasins kept the outfit comfortable and practical, perfect for a casual city appearance.
Her makeup was kept minimal, with soft tones that highlighted her natural features. Nimrat tied her hair back in a neat ponytail, adding to the effortless vibe of the look. Overall, it was a reminder that understated fashion can still make a strong impression.

Nimrat Kaur talks about being single
Earlier in an interview with News18, Nimrat spoke about how she was often taunted for not being married until her film Lunchbox was a hit. She said, “I’ve dealt with marriage questions. Every girl deals with it. And until The Lunchbox happened, I didn’t get that validation and recognition from my ‘well-wishers’ and people in my extended surroundings.”
She added, “My work and I were taken seriously because there was Irrfan in the project. Prior to that, they said that shaadi ka time aa gaya hai. Those marriage questions stopped after The Lunchbox. It took the film to convince them what I’m capable of. It made me deserving of their appreciation finally. But I understand that they’re also suffering because of the conditioning and you can’t hold it against them.”
“The moment there’s a little hint that maybe your career isn’t going the right way, you aren’t making the right money or you aren’t where you’re perceived you should be, you’re told to get married and ‘settle down’. As if I’m unsettled until I’m married!” Nimrat said.
