Former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh hilariously mimicked the great Virat Kohli on Netflix’s ‘Great Indian Kapil Show’ hosted by famed comedian and actor Kapil Sharma. Arriving as a guest on Kapil’s show alongside his ex-teammates Virender Sehwag and Mohammad Kaif, Yuvraj spotted two Kohli lookalikes within the crowd.
Upon watching this duo, Kapil quipped, “One of them looks more like the original, but the other, it feels as if he had been kept in the water and emerged. Kohli ka Kohlu ho gaya (Kohli became Kohlu).”
Later on the show, Kapil got the trio of Indian cricket giants to play a game where one of them would hold a card on top of his head, and the other two had to give him cues to arrive with the name imprinted on it. As Sehwag picked out
a card with Virat Kohli’s name on it, Kaif and Yuvraj were initially confused about what gesture they should come up with to denote it was the legend himself.
But Sehwag mischievously watched the two Kohli lookalikes smirk and recognised it was indeed the masterful One-Day International batter. Yuvraj then playfully quipped, “Hasna nahi tha bas yehi bolna tha… (you didn’t have to laugh, you just had to say…).”
Yuvraj didn’t utter the exact word, but the audience instantly recognised what he wanted to say, much to their amusement and laughter.

Yuvraj’s Kohli mimicry also caused great hysteria for the two famous judges, Archana Puran Singh and Navjot Singh Sidhu. Laughing her heart out as usual, Archana said, “Yuvi that is too good.” Yuvraj’s joke had the two Kohli lookalikes in splits as well.
Kohli, who has been icy cool and calm on the field over the last few years in the Indian jersey, was earlier known for his aggressive and animated avatar, one that came out on many occasions in the heat of anger.
Yuvraj’s mimicry was a reference to a meme that circulated from those times. As Kohli used one of the common Indian abusive phrases for his opponents, memers on the internet jokingly said he was calling out a particular name, that of England captain Ben Stokes.
Kohli has been in tremendous form in the recent few months and finished the ODI series against New Zealand on Sunday, January 18, with a vintage century in Indore.
