Krystle D’Souza is still soaking in the response she has received for her dance number, Shararat, from Dhurandhar, and the actor has now reacted to the comparisons being made between her and Kareena Kapoor Khan. While the chatter online took her by surprise, Krystle says she is taking it as a moment of gratitude rather than pressure.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar became the biggest Indian movie of 2025. The movie has collected over Rs 1200 crore worldwide and has become the highest-grossing Hindi movie of all time.
Krystle D’Souza Reacts To Comparison With Kareena Kapoor
In an interview with Zoom, Krystle said that she was grateful for the love she was receiving for the song and that she has been a fan of Kareena Kapoor. She said, “I have
loved Kareena Kapoor Khan in Dil Mera Muft Ka, and just being compared to an icon, it’s unbelievable. I’m having really, like, pinch-me moments every day. So, that was something that was like, what? Are you serious?”

She further said, “This is what my mum used to say that I look like Kareena Kapoor. Did everyone hear my mom? I’m telling you, maa ki dua is always something that will come true. Because she has literally said this every time that ‘whenever I watch you on screen, mujhe lagta hai ki you have glimpses of Kareena Kapoor Khan.’ And I was like, me? I don’t see it. But then if the world sees it and my mother sees it, it’s right.”
Tamannaah Bhatia in Dhurandhar?
As per media reports, Tamannaah Bhatia was initially supposed to star in the Shararat song instead of Ayesha Khan and Krystle D’Souza. In an interview with Free Press Journal, Krystle reacted to the claims and said, “Honestly, I mean, I did see it, and I felt like she would have killed it in her own way. She would have owned it, and, you know, sometimes what’s written for whoever it’s written is what’ll happen. You can’t change anything like that. Approached or not approached, I’m sure she would have nailed it. Like, there’s no way that she wouldn’t kill it. And even if Ayesha was alone in the song, she would have killed it. If I was alone in the song, I would have killed it. Everyone would have done what they could do best.”
