The moment was captured on camera, and it revealed the story of Vasant Rao Pawar. Once a celebrated musician, Pawar now plays his instrument on the streets. He carries not just his trumpet but also a QR code around his neck in the hope that people will help him.
A Street Performance That Touched Hearts
The woman who shared the video recalled how she first noticed Pawar from her window, who was playing tunes. So, she went downstairs and requested him to play something nice.
Pawar began playing Neele Neele Ambar Par from the 1983 film Kalaakaar. Originally sung by Kishore Kumar, the classic song came alive once again through his trumpet.
The woman couldn’t stop listening. “He played such a beautiful tune that I couldn’t stop listening,” she said.
