Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar-backed Dharma Collab Artists Agency (DCAA) have reportedly ended their association barely two months after it began. According to a report by India Today.in, industry sources claim the actor and the talent management agency have mutually parted ways, though there has been no official confirmation from either side at the time of publishing.
The reported development comes shortly after Kartik’s recent collaboration with Dharma Productions in Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. While the actor continues to be one of Hindi cinema’s most bankable and widely followed stars, unverified industry chatter suggests that the underperformance of the film may have been one of the factors behind the decision. However, sources
maintain that Kartik’s upcoming projects with Dharma Productions remain unaffected for now.
Kartik Aaryan’s Association With DCAA
Kartik Aaryan joined DCAA in November last year, marking what many saw as a significant move in his career. The artist management agency represents a roster of high-profile names including Jahnvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Lakshya Lalwani, Sonam Bajwa, Aditya Roy Kapur, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Rohit Saraf and Harshvardhan Rane, among others.
Given the high-profile nature of the association, reports of the split have come as a surprise to many within the industry. However, insiders suggest that such changes behind the scenes are not uncommon, especially when strategic alignments fail to meet expectations. Neither DCAA nor Kartik has addressed the speculation publicly so far.
Upcoming Films And Recent Controversies
Despite the reported agency split, Kartik remains busy on the professional front. He is currently gearing up for Naagzilla, a creature comedy announced last year by Karan Johar. The film, co-produced by Mahaveer Jain Films, is said to be progressing as planned and remains firmly on track.
Earlier this year, Kartik also found himself embroiled in controversy after sharing pictures from his Goa vacation. Social media users linked him to a 17-year-old UK-based girl after noticing similarities in their Instagram posts and alleged online interactions. The actor later unfollowed her, according to multiple reports, and the matter gradually died down.
On the work front, Kartik is awaiting the release of his romantic film with director Anurag Basu, which reportedly stars Sreeleela opposite him and has been delayed due to a title dispute. He is also shooting for Captain India, directed by Shimit Amin.
