According to a report by India Today.in, industry sources claim the actor and the talent management agency have mutually parted ways, though there has been no official confirmation from either side at the time of publishing.

The reported development comes shortly after Kartik’s recent collaboration with Dharma Productions in Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. While the actor continues to be one of Hindi cinema’s most bankable and widely followed stars, unverified industry chatter suggests that the underperformance of the film may have been one of the factors behind the decision. On the work front, Kartik is awaiting the release of his romantic film with director Anurag Basu, which reportedly stars Sreeleela opposite him and has been delayed due to a title dispute. He is also shooting for Captain India, directed by Shimit Amin.
