The international ambitions of White are growing bigger by the week. The makers of the Vikrant Massey-led thriller are now exploring a high-profile musical collaboration, with Jennifer Lopez being approached
to lend her voice to a special anthem for the film. If it moves forward, the track is expected to anchor the film emotionally. The idea is to create something that travels beyond the screen.
Backed by Siddharth Anand and Mahaveer Jain, the project has been steadily gaining attention since its announcement. This potential collaboration adds a fresh global dimension. No agreements have been signed yet. But the talks are active.
A Song Meant To Carry The Film’s Soul
Sources close to the project say the makers are currently in discussions with a leading global music label. That label has, in turn, reached out to Jennifer Lopez for a special track envisioned as the film’s thematic centrepiece. The talks are still at an early stage. The ambition, though, is unmistakable.
As per a press release shared by the production house, “Jennifer Lopez and the international music label are exploring a theme song that will define the soul of White. The track is expected to be in English and Spanish, and is imagined as a powerful anthem promoting Indian philosophies of world peace, love and oneness.”
Why Jennifer Lopez Changes The Game
If the collaboration materialises, it would be a major crossover moment for White. Lopez isn’t just a singer with a massive following. She’s a global cultural force. Her involvement would instantly widen the film’s reach, especially across North and South America.
For a film that positions itself as international by design, that matters. A peace anthem sung by Lopez could place White firmly in global conversations.
Inside White’s global blueprint
White is an international thriller shot primarily in English and Spanish. The makers plan to dub it into 21 languages, including Hindi. Nearly 90 percent of the film was shot across South America, with a largely international cast and crew.
The film stars Vikrant Massey as global spiritual leader Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Cinematography is handled by Juan Carlos Gil, known for his work on Narcos. Direction comes from Montoo Bassi. The project is co-produced by Conscious Studios, PeaceCraft Pictures, BroadVision, and South America-based Jaguar Bite.
With its scale, intent, and now the possibility of a Jennifer Lopez anthem, White is shaping up as one of the most ambitious cross-cultural films backed by Indian producers in recent years.
