Patna, Jun 9 (PTI) The Bihar government has transferred nine senior IPS officers, according to an official notification.
The Home department notification issued on Monday evening said, “Pankaj Kumar Raj (IPS-2006), who is holding the position of Inspector General (IG) of Civil Defence, has been given additional charge of IG (Railways). S Premlatha (IPS-2006) has been appointed as IG (Prohibition).” Sanjay Kumar (IPS-2008), who is IG (Special Branch), has been given additional charge of IG (Bihar Special Armed Police), Sudhir Kumar Porika (IPS-2010) has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the State Crime Record Bureau (SCRB).
Sushant Kumar Saroj (IPS-2012) has been appointed as DIG in the Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Bihar Police,
