The countdown to Bigg Boss 20 has officially entered its final stretch. Salman Khan has begun shooting for the landmark season of the reality show and, on Friday, September 4, gave fans their first look at him on the grand premiere set.
Salman shared a four-picture carousel from the set on Instagram, keeping his caption characteristically brief with just “#BiggBoss20”. The photographs show him posing against a massive gold installation of the number 20, two days before the new season goes on air.

For his latest appearance, Salman opted for a fitted black T-shirt, dark trousers and a grey waistcoat. He completed the look with a black cowboy hat. In the first two pictures, the actor poses in front
of the giant “20” installation, while the remaining photographs show him standing inside the zero of the number.
The post quickly drew attention as preparations for the premiere gathered pace. Salman began shooting for the grand premiere in Mumbai on Friday. Photos and videos of the actor from the set have also surfaced online.
Salman is returning as host for the twentieth Hindi season. The actor has been associated with Bigg Boss since Season 4 and has remained the face of the show through most of its run.
What’s New In Bigg Boss 20?
This year’s theme is titled “Tathas-Two”, with the season introducing an “Extra Jeevan Daan” twist. Salman had earlier teased that while the game changes every year, Season 20 would also alter the way contestants play it. Details about exactly how the additional life will operate inside the house are being kept under wraps until the show begins.
The house itself has undergone a major makeover. Designed around the idea of duality, it includes unusual installations such as a teapot transformed into a couch, an octopus holding chess pieces and a hot-air balloon converted into a seating space. A mysterious Room No. 20 has also been created, although its purpose has not yet been revealed.

Bigg Boss 20 will premiere on Sunday, September 6. The season will follow a digital-first release, streaming on JioHotstar at 9 pm before airing on Colors TV at 10:30 pm.
The final contestant line-up has been the subject of considerable speculation ahead of the premiere. Several names from television, films, social media and other fields have been linked to the show. Reports have mentioned personalities including Mahhi Vij, Qazi Touqeer, Kanika Mann, Arishfa Khan, Kushal Tanwar, Isha Rikhi, Aman Gandhi, Khushi Dubey and others.
