Batting superstar Virat Kohli will be in action for Royal Challengers Bengaluru in their IPL 2026 match against Delhi Capitals on Saturday, April 18. In the fixture set to take place at RCB’s home ground – M. Chinnaswamy Stadium – Kohli, who is leading the Orange Cap race in IPL 2026, will have a chance to become the first batter in the world to score 10,000 T20 runs in one country.

Kohli tops the list of batters with the most T20 runs in a country, and if he manages to score at least 68 runs against the Axar Patel-led side in RCB’s first afternoon match of the ongoing season, then he will take his tally of T20 runs to 10,000 in India.

As of now, he has amassed a total of 9932 runs in 283 innings of 289 T20 matches in India.

228 IPL and 10 Champions League T20 matches for Royal Challengers Bengaluru in India, Kohli featured in 46 matches for the Indian men’s cricket team in India during his 14-year-long T20I career from 2010 to 2024 and played 5 matches for his domestic team Delhi.
