Now, the actor, known for fully immersing himself in every character, has opened up about how he prepared to step into this new role in India’s most-loved spy thriller series.

In an interview with ANI, when asked about his preparation, he shared, “taiyaari toh wohi jo hoti hai harbar kisi bhi nayi chiz ko karne se. Aur taiyari ka ek bara hissa script mein hota hai. Saare logics usme hote hai, saare bhab usme hote hai.

Aur mujhe yaad hai pehli baar jab milatha main Raj & DK sir, unhon Rukma ko explain kiya ki wo kis tarah ke insaan hai, aur wo kyu aisa hai, jo wo abhi hai. Toh wo sari chize jo aap dimag pe rakhte wo aur lagatar aap jab padte rehete ho ya puchte rehte ho khudse sawal ki ye aisa kyu ya waisa kyu toh ek khakapanna taiyaar ho jata hai. Baaki jab team accha hota hai tph tension nahi hoti (Preparation is the same as it always is whenever you do something new. And a major part of that preparation lies in the script, all the logic is there, all the emotions are there. I remember the first time I met Raj & DK sir, they explained to me who Rukma is, what kind of person he is, and why he has become the way he is now. So you keep all those things in mind, and as you keep reading or asking yourself questions like ‘Why is he like this?’ or ‘Why does he do that?’, a rough outline forms in your mind. Jaideep Ahlawat On Shooting in Nagaland

The new season is set against the backdrop of Northeast India. Reflecting on that the actor said, “Log bolte hai Nagaland ka brand ambassador bana dena chaiye mujhe. Kyuki Prime video ki do badi series kiy hai usi jagah pe. Aur wo bohot shaandar jagah hai. Usse pehle woha bohot kam shoot hue hai. Toh wo experinece jo hai us jagah me do baar jane ka, do alag alag keerdar nibhane ka wo bohot hi kamal tha. (People say I should be made the brand ambassador of Nagaland because I’ve shot two major Prime Video series there. It’s an absolutely wonderful place. Before this, very few projects were shot there. So getting the experience of going there twice and playing two completely different characters was truly amazing).”
