The 50 is gearing up to make its mark as one of the most unconventional reality shows on Indian screens. Designed as a high-stakes social experiment, the series promises scale, chaos and unpredictability, all unfolding within a single sprawling Mahal. The show is set to stream on JioHotstar and air on Colors TV soon.
But while the buzz around the potential line-up continues to grow, it has now been reported that Anshula Kapoor has been approached to be part of the show. Besides her, commentator and content creator Sufi Motiwala is also said to be in talks, while names like Shehbaaz Badesha and Dhanashree Verma continue to do the rounds.
Interestingly, Anshula, Sufi and Dhanashree were also seen in Karan Johar’s The Traitors earlier this year.
Dhanashree also participated in Rise and Fall later, which was hosted by Ashneer Grover. On the other hand, Shehbaaz Badesha was recently seen in Bigg Boss 19.
What Will The 50 Revolve Around?
Like Bigg Boss, The 50 will be available on JioHotstar and Colors TV, making it easily accessible to viewers. However, the show aims to stand out with a format Indian audiences have not witnessed before.
Centered around a bold concept involving 50 contestants living together in a grand mahal without a fixed set of rules, the show leans into chaos and unpredictability. As per reports, a mix of celebrities, social media influencers, and former Bigg Boss contestants are being considered for the show as of now.

The 50 is India’s version of the popular French series, Les Cinquante. The format also inspired an American adaptation back in 2023, titled Los 50, which aired on Telemundo. The 50’s premiere date has not been announced as of now.
