Vellore Institute of Technologies Iconic Techno Fest to Begin from 26th of September 2025

Vellore, Tamil Nadu – 15-09-2025 – Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), a renowned educational institution known for its excellence in education, cutting-edge infrastructure, and focus on innovation has announced its commencement of Techno- management Fest ‘graVITas’ from 26^th of September 2025, in the Vellore campus of VIT.

This year the 16th edition of ‘graVITas’ is more than just an event; it’s a massive, three-day carnival of ideas, innovation, and collaboration and the electrifying theme would be Sustainable Tomorrow, Shaped Today! It’s where thousands of bright minds—from VIT students to professionals, school kids, and even international participants from over 20+ countries—come together to create, compete, and connect. With over 200+

events and workshops on the schedule and a staggering prize pool of over ₹25 Lakhs, graVITas ’25 promises to be bigger and bolder than ever before.

Participants can jump into a vast range of activities, from Hackathons, Ideathons, technical competitions like RoboWars, drone race to technical games like LaserTag, The Treasure Trail etc., that push the limits of problem-solving, to hands-on Workshops led by industry experts. It’s a dynamic mix of serious competition, engaging games, and eye-opening exhibitions.

This year “Splendra” (LED Dance), “Capital Hunt” for registered student start-ups, “Social Transformers” for students with start-up ideas that would transform society, and “Career Expo” for the students, job seekers and other stakeholders to get an opportunity to interact with diverse companies are added extravaganza.

The festival has become a cornerstone of the national student calendar, attracting over 40,000+ participants and supported by more than 70+ sponsors and collaborators who share a vision for nurturing the next generation of innovators. graVITas ’25 is an open invitation for anyone passionate about technology, design, and management to join the conversation and help shape our future.
