Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi’s brother, Bijendra Nath Tiwari, is undergoing treatment in Patna after reportedly sustaining serious injuries in an alleged attack in Bihar. The incident has led to a police investigation, with authorities forming a special team to identify and arrest those responsible.
According to reports, Tiwari was first taken to a local hospital before being shifted to Patna for advanced medical care. His condition was reportedly considered critical, leading doctors to refer him to a higher medical facility.

News agency IANS shared details of the development and posted a video showing Tiwari’s arrival at the hospital, as reported in The Times of India. “Bijendra Nath Tiwari, sustained
critical injuries in a sharp-weapon attack linked to an old dispute. He was shifted to Patna for advanced treatment, while police formed a special team and launched raids to apprehend the accused.”
Attack allegedly linked to old dispute
As per reports, the incident took place in Belsand village, which falls under the Madhopur police station area in Bihar. The report alleges that the attack was connected to a long-standing dispute. It claims that the accused were waiting in the village before allegedly attacking Tiwari with sharp weapons.
Family members reportedly rushed him to Model Sadar Hospital immediately after the incident. Doctors there provided emergency treatment and are said to have described his condition as extremely serious before recommending that he be moved to Patna.
Police launch investigation
With the case now under investigation, police have reportedly constituted a special team to track down those allegedly involved. Authorities are conducting raids as part of the effort to identify and apprehend the accused.
