Diwali 2025 will mark a new chapter for one of Bollywood’s most celebrated couples, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. The duo has announced that they will be moving into their new family bungalow in Mumbai’s
upscale Pali Hill area, a home worth an estimated Rs 250 crore.
Sharing the news through an official statement, Alia and Ranbir expressed their gratitude and requested privacy as they begin this new phase of their lives.
Their statement read, “Diwali is all about gratitude and new beginnings. As we move into our new home, we are thankful for all the warmth and support you’ve shown us and we hope we can continue to rely on your consideration for our privacy and that of our family, home and wonderful neighbours. Sending you and your family all our love this festive season. Happy Diwali!”

The bungalow, spread across six floors, stands on the site of the former Krishna Raj bungalow, the Kapoor family’s long-standing residence. The newly constructed property reportedly features state-of-the-art interiors, multiple entertainment spaces, and a lush terrace garden.
Among Bollywood’s Most Expensive Homes
With an estimated value of Rs 250 crore, the new Pali Hill residence is among the costliest celebrity homes in India. The house will serve as the primary residence for Ranbir, Alia, their daughter Raha, and Ranbir’s mother, veteran actress Neetu Kapoor.
For the Kapoors, the move holds sentimental significance, as it brings together memories of the past and the promise of a new beginning — fittingly timed with Diwali, the festival of lights.
Alia’s Winning Streak Continues
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt has added another feather to her cap. The actress recently bagged her sixth Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her performance in Jigra, surpassing legends like Meena Kumari, Nutan, Kajol, and Vidya Balan.
Sharing behind-the-scenes moments from the film on Instagram, Alia wrote, “This one will always stay closest to my heart … not just for the story we told, but for the incredible people who gave it life.”
Next up, Alia and Ranbir will reunite on screen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love And War, co-starring Vicky Kaushal, slated for release in March next year.
