The West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) has declared the results of the recruitment examination for assistant teachers in state-run and aided schools for Classes 9 and 10. The test covered 23,212 vacancies, and the results were uploaded on the commission’s website on Monday evening. Candidates were also able to access their results through a dedicated helpline. The exam had been held on 7 September.
After the announcement, State Education Minister Bratya Basu posted on X, saying: “The West Bengal Central School Service Commission has released the results of the written examination for recruitment of teachers for Classes 9-10, which was conducted on September 7. Under the guidance of Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and with the cooperation
of the state and district administration, I congratulate the commission for publishing the results on time.”

Step 2: Click on the “WBSSC SLST Result 2025” link.
Step 3: Enter the required login details.
Step 4: Submit to view your result.
Step 5: Download the result page.
Step 6: Take a printout for future reference.

In the verification round, candidates must show their original documents such as educational certificates, ID proof and category certificates.
After this step, the Commission will hold the interview round, and call letters will be provided on the official website. The list of shortlisted candidates for interviews is likely to be released in the first week of December.
