Sunil Pal has once again mocked Samay Raina and his controversial show India’s Got Latent. The comedian sarcastically said the show is “too big” for someone like him and suggested that Samay should make his own parents judges on the panel. The latest comments have grabbed attention because the public feud between Sunil Pal and Samay Raina has continued ever since India’s Got Latent landed in controversy over podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia’s explicit remarks on the show. Sunil Pal Says He Won’t Go On Samay Raina’s Show In a recent interaction, Sunil Pal was asked whether he would appear as a guest on India’s Got Latent Season 2. The comedian responded with sarcasm and made it clear that he had no interest in being part of the show. “Main to nahi
jaunga kyunki itna bada show hai mere layak nahi hai. Main chota artiste hoon.” Sunil then took another swipe at Samay Raina while speaking about the judging panel format of the show. “Samay Raina ka jo show bana hai isme judge bana ke, jaise Kapil Sharma ke show mein Archana Puran Singh baithti hai, waise Samay Raina ke season mein, 2 hai na? Waha do logon ko bithaye, apne mata ji ko, sagi maa ko aur sage pitaji ko bithaye.” He concluded the remark by saying, “Aur unke saamne ye show kare.” The India’s Got Latent controversy Thefight between Sunil Pal and Samay Raina started after India’s Got Latent became the centre of controversy earlier this year.
The show faced legal trouble and public backlash after Ranveer Allahbadia made an explicit comment during one of the episodes. The controversy led to multiple FIRs and criticism online, with several comedians and creators getting dragged into the debate.
During that period, Sunil Pal openly criticised both the show and the comedians associated with it. In several interviews and viral videos, he reportedly accused creators like Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia of negatively influencing young audiences.
Samay Raina’s response to Sunil Pal
Months after the controversy exploded online, Samay Raina finally reacted to Sunil Pal’s criticism during his appearance on The Longest Interview podcast. Reacting to the repeated attacks, Samay said, “I don’t think about him,” while also suggesting that people who constantly criticise others may be dealing with their own frustrations.
He further called Sunil Pal a “frustrated man” who lacks “mental peace.”
Despite the ongoing tension between them, the two comedians recently shared the stage on The Great Indian Kapil Show during a special World Laughter Day episode hosted by Kapil Sharma. The episode also featured Ranveer Allahbadia.
