With the Vijay Hazare Trophy off to a flyer, thanks to truckloads of runs being scored by cricketers known and unknown, all eyes will now be on the second round of the domestic tournament, which will again see the likes of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Rohit Sharma and ace India batter Virat Kohli in action.
The star-studded lineup also includes Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav and Abhishek Sharma, among others, but the spotlight remains on Kohli and Rohit.
Their appearance has a direct link to the BCCI’s decision to make at least two Vijay Hazare Trophy games mandatory for India players.
Delhi will face Gujarat in Bengaluru, while Mumbai are all set to take on Uttarakhand in Jaipur.
