Lilly Singh has returned to India to film a new season of her podcast ‘Shame Less With Lilly Singh.’ The popular creator-comedian-actor was spotted by the paparazzi on Sunday as she arrived in Mumbai!
It’s no secret that Lilly loves all things Bollywood and is a huge Shah Rukh Khan fan. So, it was no surprise to see her rocking a graphic T-shirt featuring pictures of the superstar! She politely interacted with the paparazzi, and was also seen greeting them in Marathi.
Lilly Singh Arrives In Mumbai
A video shared by paparazzo Sneh Zala shows Lilly Singh at the Mumbai airport. She turned heads in a T-shirt printed with Shah Rukh Khan’s name and pictures of the superstar. She paired it with baggy black pants and a matching cap. As soon as she spotted the paparazzi, she smiled and greeted them in Marathi, saying ‘Kasa kaay, Mumbai?’ The photographers were amused, and Lilly explained that she practised this phrase before coming to Mumbai. When asked about her SRK tee, Lilly replied, “When you land in Mumbai, you have to pay respect to the King.” Check out the video below!

Lilly Singh To Shoot New Season Of Her Podcast In India
Lilly Singh has always worn her desi roots proudly. She is gearing up to shoot the biggest season yet of her podcast Shame Less With Lilly Singh. A person familiar with the production confirmed Singh’s plans, saying, “Lilly is coming to India to shoot the new season of her podcast Shame Less With Lilly Singh. Various Indian celebrities from different fields will be filming with Lilly for this season. While the names of the celebrities aren’t disclosed yet, Lilly is planning to expand her roster to a diverse guest list and not just Bollywood.” The new season will widen the focus of her show, which has previously hosted actors such as Aditi Rao Hydari, Ananya Panday, Neena Gupta, Bhumi Pednekar and Sidharth Malhotra. She is set to begin a tight week-long shoot soon after landing in Mumbai.
Lilly Singh’s journey began on YouTube in 2010, where she posted videos under the name “Superwoman.” Her online presence grew rapidly, eventually leading to global recognition, a documentary titled A Trip to Unicorn Island (2016), and her bestselling book How to Be a Bawse (2017). She made history in 2019 when she became the first person of Indian descent to host an American late-night talk show, A Little Late with Lilly Singh, which she led until 2021.
Born in Toronto in 1988 to Punjabi immigrant parents, Singh was raised in a Sikh household and has often spoken about her childhood, education, and early influences. She graduated from York University with a degree in psychology before pursuing content creation full-time.
