Hrithik Roshan Seeks Blessings At Santala Devi Temple During Uttarakhand Trek

Hrithik Roshan, who has been spending time trekking in Uttarakhand this week, was seen offering prayers at the Santala Devi temple in Dehradun, with visuals from his visit circulating widely on social media. Fan pages on X shared photos and clips showing the actor dressed in a yellow jacket layered over a white T-shirt, paired with a white beanie suitable for the winter chill in the region.

The actor had earlier posted a series of images from his trek, describing his affection for the terrain and the mountains. In the caption, he wrote, “Something about trekking undulating surfaces makes my heart smile with joy. Dammit , let’s go back to the way it was supposed to be under my feet ! #uttarakhand. Love you #India”.

The temple visit comes shortly after Roshan publicly praised the film Dhurandhar, sparking conversations online. His reaction stood out because he shared separate views on Instagram and X about the movie. On Instagram, he posted, “I love cinema, I love people who climb into a vortex and let the story take control, spin them, shake them until what they want to say is purged out of them onto that screen. DHURANDAR is an example of that. Loved the storytelling. It’s cinema”.

He acknowledged concerns regarding political messaging but stressed that the craft moved him as a viewer. “I may disagree with the politics of it, and argue about the responsibilities us filmmakers should bear as citizens of the world. Nevertheless, can’t ignore how I loved and learnt from this one as a student of cinema. Amazing”, he added.

Roshan also appreciated the performances of the cast. Speaking about Ranveer Singh and R. Madhavan, he said, “@ranveersingh the silent to the fierce what a journey and so damn consistent. @actormaddy bloody mad grace, strength and dignity!!”

He reserved special praise for Rakesh Bedi. “But man @rakeshbedi what you did was phenomenal.. what an ACT, brilliant !! A huge big round of applause for everyone especially the makeup and prosthetics dept!”

The actor expressed excitement for the continuation of the story, noting, “I can’t wait for part 2 !!!”.
