Brother duo Aparshakti Khurana and Ayushmann Khurrana have once again left fans in splits with their hilarious chemistry, this time with a spooky twist. Aparshakti shared a rib-tickling video on Instagram
to celebrate the success of his brother Ayushmann’s latest released film Thamma, which has now crossed the ₹100 crore mark at the box office.
In the clip, Aparshakti can be seen sitting beside his brother Ayushmann Khurrana, singing his viral Chitti song from Stree 2. Everything seems normal until he discovers that Ayushmann is also a creature from the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU). Shocked, Aparshakti exclaims, “Bhaiyaa, aap bhi? Welcome to the universe,” before bowing down to touch Ayushmann’s feet in a playful gesture.

Ayushmann Khurrana And Aparshakti Khurana’s Bromance
Ayushmann, maintaining the humorous streak, blesses him, saying, “Ayushmann bhavah.” To which Aparshakti quickly responds, “Even the audience is saying that, that’s why the film has crossed Rs 100 crore.” The video ends with the brothers laughing and celebrating the milestone.
Aparshakti captioned the post, “Hum toh soche ki Bicky ki girlfriend hi bhootiya hai… Yahan toh humaara apna bhai bhi bhootiya nikla! Par kya karein, khoon ka risstaa hai humaara. Hope you all had a Thammakedaar experience watching Thamma! Thank you for showering so much love on the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe.”
The reference? Ayushmann plays Alok in Thamma, whereas Aparshakti Khurana, Ayushmann’s real-life brother, plays Bittu in Stree and Stree 2; all three films are a part of MHCU.
With both brothers being a part of the Universe, the possibility that it brings them together to share screen space has Ayushmann excited. Talking to News18 Showsha, the actor said, “I’m really looking forward to crossing paths with my brother. It would be crazy.”
Ayushmann Khurrana On Thamma
As for the success of Thamma, he said, “It just means that the validation from the public has come and that’s the biggest kind of vindication for an artist. It’s very gratifying more than anything else, as you want to reach out to as many people as possible. So, it feels wonderful.”
Created under the Maddock Films banner, Thamma is the latest film in the MHCU, which includes films like Stree, Bhediya and Munjya. The story revolves around Ayushmann’s character, who turns into a vampire.
