Rohit Sharma Is Ready For Stranger Things 5 Volume 2: ‘Vecna, Teri Fielding Set Hai’

Soon, viewers will see their favourite Hawkins heroes battling Vecna one last time in what promises to be a grand and emotional farewell to the fan-favourite show that has kept audiences hooked for five long seasons. As the series gears up for its final hunt, fans across the world can’t stop talking about it. Even Indian cricket star Rohit Sharma has joined the buzz, featuring in a new promo video for Stranger Things 5.

On Tuesday, Netflix dropped a new promo in which Rohit Sharma is seen gearing up for Stranger Things 5 Volume 2.

In the video, the Hitman is seen entering the locker room, where his entire team is grooving and relaxing. He is seen wearing jersey number 11 and advising them to get serious. He tells everyone, “Listen carefully. The finale is coming. Not just your career, your entire life could get flipped upside down.”

When one of his team members tries to stand up, he says, “Eh, tu baithe reh. Jab tak main bolu nahi, uth mat.”

He then goes on to tell his team about the “opposition” and its mind games. He says, “When the opposition plays serious mind games, no helmet is going to save you.”

One team member from the back teasingly says, “That’s why he hasn’t scored a double century in a while.”

Hearing this, Rohit turns around and says, “Listen, smart guy. I have only hit doubles so far. But the opposition can attack from anywhere, through the ground, the wall, or even the roof.”

Rohit Sharma Speaks About Vecna

Rohit even tells them that for the finale, a special kit has been designed by an expert. He unboxes the metal box in front of the team and says, “When their captains walk in, it’s not your heart that starts pounding, it’s your neck.”

When someone asks him who their opposition is, Sharma replies, “The same guy who lifts people up like kites, Vecna.”

“Get ready, boys. It’s time to straighten the Upside Down. Vecna, your fielding is set.”

Netflix Confirms The Stranger Things 5 Volume 2 Release Date

Sharing the promo, Netflix confirmed the release date of Stranger Things 5 Volume 2 in India. In the caption they wrote, “Hitman aa raha hai upside down ko seedha karne. Watch Stranger Things 5: Volume 2, out 26 December at 6:30 AM IST, only on Netflix.”

In the US, the show will stream on December 25, with episodes releasing at 8 pm ET and 5 pm PT. Meanwhile, Indian viewers will be able to watch the same episodes on December 26, starting at 6:30 am.

Stranger Things 5 Volume 2 episodes: Titles, runtime

Amid the growing excitement around the show’s release, the makers recently revealed the titles and runtimes of the upcoming episodes of Stranger Things 5. According to The Hollywood Reporter, creators Ross Duffer and Matt Duffer confirmed the final runtimes for Stranger Things 5 Volume 2.

The second volume will feature three episodes with a combined runtime of approximately three and a half hours. Picking up from Volume 1, the episodes include:

Episode 5, “Shock Jock” – 1 hour 8 minutes

Episode 6, “Escape From Camazotz” – 1 hour 15 minutes

Episode 7, “The Bridge” – 1 hour 6 minutes
