Sunrisers Hyderabad endured a slow start to the tournament before building strong momentum in the second half of the season. The return of regular skipper Pat Cummins for the final seven league-stage games proved crucial as well, with the team winning five of those matches.
Having defeated Rajasthan Royals twice during the league stage, Cummins and his Sunrisers Hyderabad team will head into the high-pressure knockout clash with a psychological edge.
