Star India cricketer Prithvi Shaw has shared a heartfelt message, days after he was embroiled in an on-field altercation with former teammate from Mumbai Musheer Khan, for which he faced a lot of flak
online. The former moved to Maharashtra recently and will represent his new team in the upcoming Ranji Trophy.
On Tuesday, Shaw was involved in an on-field altercation, where he swung his bat at former Mumbai teammates during a practice match for Maharashtra ahead of the upcoming Ranji Trophy season in Pune.
Shaw, who switched from Mumbai to Maharashtra this season, was involved in the heated exchange while walking back to the pavilion after a stellar 181 at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Gahunje.
But with three days to go for the Ranji Trophy season, Shaw seems to have embraced spirituality.

Shaw and seasoned all-rounder Jalaj Saxena have been named in Maharashtra’s 16-member Ranji Trophy team, with Ankeet Bawane appointed as full-time skipper for the season beginning October 15.
Maharashtra will open their campaign against Kerala in Thiruvananthapuram. They are placed in Group B along with last year’s runners-up team Kerala, Saurashtra, Chandigarh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and Goa.
Looking for a fresh start in red-ball cricket after losing his place in Mumbai’s lineup, Shaw has shown promising form, smashing 181 in a warm-up game against his former team and adding 305 runs for the opening wicket with Arshin Kulkarni.
A viral clip on social media showed Shaw engaged in a heated argument with multiple cricketers and appeared to confront Musheer, who had exchanged words with him while giving a send-off after taking his wicket.
“Prithvi realised his mistake and approached Musheer and apologised to him. Prithvi told him ‘I am like an elder brother to you.’ So all is well between the two,” a source was quoted as saying by The Times of India.
