Emerald green has long been synonymous with power, poise, and quiet confidence, and Shanaya Kapoor tapped into all three as she stepped out for the trailer launch of her upcoming film Tu Yaa Main. Ditching
excess in favour of restraint, the actor delivered a look that felt deliberate, directional, and deeply rooted in modern luxury.
Shanaya Kapoor’s floor-length emerald gown by Colombian designer Silvia Tcherassi was a masterclass in refined sensuality. With its high neckline and long sleeves, the silhouette leaned into classic elegance, while its body-contouring fit brought a contemporary sharpness. The sculpted bodice traced clean lines, creating a statuesque effect that felt confident rather than overt.
A strategically placed side cut-out at the waist introduced a subtle disruption – just enough skin to elevate the gown from minimal to memorable. It was a reminder that modern glamour often lies in balance, not boldness.

Crafted in a fluid, figure-skimming fabric, the gown fell effortlessly into a floor-grazing hem, elongating Shanaya’s frame. Soft ruching at the waist added depth and movement, while a slim gold-toned accent punctuated the monochrome palette with restraint. Rather than overpowering the look, the metallic detail acted as a quiet focal point, enhancing the sculptural quality of the design.
Styled by celebrity stylist Manisha Melwani, the look embraced a philosophy of ‘less, but intentional.’ Shanaya wore her hair straight, centre-parted, and shoulder-length, allowing the clean lines of the gown to remain uninterrupted. Her makeup stayed soft and polished, with a focus on glowing skin and understated definition.
Accessories followed suit. Crocodile-inspired minimalist jewellery from Indinoor Jewellery nodded subtly to the thematic undertones of Tu Yaa Main without veering into costume territory. The result was cohesive, considered, and quietly impactful.
With this appearance, Shanaya Kapoor continues to carve a distinct fashion identity, which is rooted in confidence, restraint, and evolving sophistication. The emerald gown didn’t just make a statement; it signalled a growing ease with high-fashion storytelling, where elegance is expressed through precision rather than spectacle.
