JEE Main 2026 Admit Card: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to release the JEE Main 2026 January session admit card shortly on its official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Once released, engineering
aspirants will be able to download their hall tickets using their registration number and password.
The JEE Main admit card will contain key details including the candidate’s name, roll number, application number, photograph and signature. It will also mention the exam date, shift timing, reporting time, exam centre address, paper details and important instructions for the exam day.
The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 examination will be conducted on January 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28 for BE and BTech courses. These papers will be held in two shifts. The first shift will run from 9 am to 12 pm, while the second shift will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm. The BArch and BPlan examinations are scheduled for January 29 and will be conducted in a single shift.
The NTA has also rescheduled the JEE Main 2026 exam for candidates in West Bengal, which was earlier scheduled on January 23, due to the celebration of Saraswati Puja.
According to the agency, affected candidates will be allotted an alternative date from the existing Session 1 schedule after representations were received from students in the state.
How To Download JEE Main 2026 Admit Card?
Candidates can follow these steps to download their hall ticket once it is released:
- Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the JEE Main 2026 Admit Card link on the homepage.
- Enter the required login details.
- Submit the details to view the admit card.
- Download the hall ticket and take a printout for future reference.
JEE Main 2026 Exam Mode
- Paper 1 (BE/BTech) will be conducted entirely in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
- Paper 2A (BArch) will have Mathematics and the Aptitude Test in CBT mode, while the Drawing Test will be conducted offline on an A4-size drawing sheet.
- Paper 2B (BPlanning) will be held in CBT mode for Mathematics, the Aptitude Test and Planning-based questions.
