Nicola Peltz’s Wedding Dress Story Conflicts With Brooklyn Beckham’s Online Claims

The internet is blowing up as Brooklyn Beckham dropped a major bomb about all the family drama happening between his wife, Nicola Peltz, and his family. The controversy exploded when Brooklyn shared a scathing statement on his Instagram claming that his mom, Victoria Beckham, tried to sabotage his wedding and that his entire family had focused only on their brand rather than their personal relationship.

One of the claims Brooklyn made was that his mom, Victoria Beckham, “cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress.” However, a Vogue article detailing Nicola Peltz’s dress was actually made after years of discussion.

For years, several media houses carried the news that there was a silent feud between Nicola Peltz and the Beckhams, and Brooklyn’s latest claims just confirmed them. Out of the several bombshells dropped by him, one of the claims is now being questioned by social media users.

Brooklyn’s claim that his mom, Victoria, cancelled making Nicola’s dress was questioned as Social media users pointed to a detailed Vogue feature, which described how Nicola Peltz Beckham’s Valentino gown was made. The article read, “Peltz’s custom wedding look is the culmination of a year’s worth of conversations with Valentino creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli’s team, two trips to the Rome HQ, and two U.S. fittings. The head seamstresses even journeyed to Miami to make sure every detail was immaculate on the big day.”

Brooklyn Beckham slams family

This wasn’t the only claim that Brooklyn made; he also said that his mom, Victoria, danced inappropriately in front of guests during their first dance. He wrote, “I  have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.”

He added, “My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song. In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule, was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life. We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.”
