A post about India’s fast delivery services is drawing a lot of attention on the internet. Many users are amazed after reading how quick on-demand platforms can be, especially compared to services in the US.
The discussion began when a woman shared a personal experience that highlighted how common 10-minute deliveries have become in India.
The reaction has sparked a wider conversation about everyday convenience in the country. The comparisons between life in the US and India have also prompted mixed responses, with many surprised at how advanced India’s delivery systems are.
Woman Compares India’s Speed To The US
In her post on X, the woman, who is also the CEO of TriFetch (AI and healthcare), wrote, “San Francisco has self-driving cars. India has 10-minute everything. I’m not sure which is more impressive.” She added that after living in the US for five years, returning to India made Amazon Prime’s “2-Day Delivery” seem “ancient” compared to services back home.
She explained that she and her friend, who is also her company’s partner, were in Ranchi for a wedding when they realised they had forgotten their haldi outfits. “In the US, this would be a panic drive to the mall. In India, we opened Blinkit. 15 mins later, 2 full outfits arrived at the hotel,” she wrote.
She ended her post by saying India is far ahead when it comes to B2C logistics. “India is living in 2030 for B2C logistics. (PS: If you zoom in… yes, Rose is in a Men’s Kurta and I’m in a Men’s Lungi. We optimised for speed, not gender accuracy).”
Below the post, she also shared a photo of the two of them at the wedding setup. In the picture, both are dressed in simple, traditional outfits they ordered online, standing in front of a bright yellow haldi decoration filled with marigolds and hanging ornaments.

Internet Reacts To The Post
The post, shared on November 27, has crossed 99,000 views and has drawn many comments. A user wrote, “India is indeed living in 2030! But I’m going to bet that your ‘men’s lungi’ was actually a formal dhoti/veshti! Blinkit delivers clothing, but it can’t deliver cultural context yet.”
Another asked, “10 Mins Grocery to Self-Drive Car Comparison??” Someone else pointed out, “In many instances, the southern hemisphere is leaps and bounds ahead of the West… consider Mobile Money as well.”
There were mixed opinions, too. A person said, “It’s not B2C logistics. It’s cheap labour.” Another joked, “This is crazy jugaad.”
A different user shared a contrasting view, writing, “All about needs!! For me, settling in the US or Europe is far better than here and for you 10-min delivery is prime !!! Hope you understood.”
