Soon after the cricketer shared an Instagram Story featuring a photo of himself with Mahieka at the beach on Friday, netizens expressed their opinions on the microblogging site X and apologised to Natasa. “If Natasha had posted a similar story entire country would’ve slut shamed, given her abuses and cursed her for eternity,” one of the users wrote.

A third user praised Natasa for not accepting any alimony from Hardik and for always maintaining her dignity by not discussing their personal life in public. “More respect for you, Natasha Stankovic. Not like those ___ who marry cricketers just for fame and money,” the user added.

Natasa Stankovic, Hardik Pandya Separation

Natasa Stankovic and Hardik Pandya, who tied the knot in May 2020 and renewed their wedding vows according to the Hindu and Christian rituals in February 2023, confirmed their separation in July 2024. They issued a joint statement and mentioned that it was a “tough decision” for both of them and added that they will continue to co-parent their son, Agastya.

“After 4 years of being together, Hardik and I have decided to mutually part ways. We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest for the both of us. This was a tough decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect and companionship we enjoyed together and as we grew a family,” the statement read.

“We are blessed with Agastya, who will continue to be at the centre of both our lives and we will co-parent to ensure that we give him everything that we can for his happiness. We sincerely request your support and understanding to give us privacy during this difficult and sensitive time,” it added.
