Border 2 continues its dream run at the box office, winning hearts and the appreciation of both audience and critics. Riding high on its massive success, the makers hosted an intimate get-together at the T-Series office in Mumbai. The celebration brought together the film’s cast, crew, and key members of the industry to mark the milestone achievement. Pictures from the event are now going viral online, showing the team celebrating the film’s success in style.

Among the many who arrived at the event was playback singer Palak Muchhal. She made a stylish appearance with her husband, music composer Mithoon, at the success meet. Palak looked elegant in a body-hugging black top paired with matching pants, while Mithoon complemented her look in a navy

blue shirt and black trousers.

In the video shared on Instagram, the couple was seen posing for the paparazzi flashing warm smiles and grabbing all the spotlight.

Border 2 Success Meet’s Guest List

Lead actor Sunny Deol, along with Varun Dhawan, Mona Singh, Ahan Shetty, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh, Medha Rana, and several other members from the production and creative teams who played a crucial role in bringing this film to life were spotted at the event.

Director Anurag Singh and producers Bhushan Kumar, Nidhi Dutta, Shiv Chanana, and Binoy Gandhi were also present at the celebration. The special evening was further graced by notable names from the music and casting fraternity, including Mukesh Chhabra, Anu Malik, Vishal Mishra, Paramvir Cheema, Sonu Nigam and Mithoon.

What We Know About Border 2?

Directed and co-written by Anurag Singh, the film is the sequel to J.P. Dutta’s iconic war classic of the same name. Border 2, set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War, expands the scale of the original film. The sequels brings together an ensemble cast of actors, including Sunny Deol, Anya Singh, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Medha Rana, Mona Singh, and Sonam Bajwa.

Backed by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta and Nidhi Dutta under the banners of T-Series Films and J.P. Films, the war drama showcases coordinated operations of the Indian Army, Air Force and Navy. At the emotional core stands Sunny Deol as Lt Col Fateh Singh Kaler, a commanding officer, mentor and unshakable force for his group of younger soldiers.

Border 2 Box Office Numbers

Released in theatres on January 23, Border 2 opened to an impressive Rs 30 crore net in India on its first day. The film witnessed strong upward momentum over the next few days, registering a whopping Rs 59 crore collection on Republic Day alone. According to Sacnilk, the war drama has crossed Rs 200 crore mark in India, translating to about Rs 239.75 crore in gross collections within just five days.

As expected, the impact wasn’t limited to India. International markets responded strongly too, with collections touching nearly $4.5 million (around Rs 41 crore) after Tuesday. The worldwide total now stands at an impressive Rs 275 crore in just five days.
