Apr 21 (PTI) The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday caught a woman assistant engineer of the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) while allegedly accepting a bribe at Ashti in the district, police said.
Komal Shinde, the accused, had allegedly demanded money for clearing a solar power project.
Unwilling to pay the bribe, the complainant approached the ACB which laid a trap at the MSEDCL office and arrested Shinde when she accepted Rs 19,000 in cash, said a police official.
